Implementer, Achievement of QAS Accreditation, and a Qualified Auditor for their Compliant Quality Assurance Systems.

Appointed as Project Manager/Building Services Manager/Co-ordinator as well as Vertical Transport Consultant on Major Projects including Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre at Southbank and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospitals Redevelopment Projects in Herston.

Creator and Implementer of Australia’s First “Performance Based” Lift Maintenance Contracts in 1995, Contracts subjected to on-going and continuous improvements, widely acknowledged and adopted and used by hundreds of Clients and Buildings, Large and Small across Australia.

1995, 18 Years Specialist Lift Consulting as a Sole Practitioner and Sub-Consultant to several National Multi Discipline Building Services Consultants – Projects Australia Wide/New Zealand/South East Asia.

Consultant for Australia’s (The World’s) First MRL Lifts – 10 x KONE Monospace Lifts at Alexandra Beach Resort, Sunshine Coast, Queensland. 2013, Establishment of Innovative Lift Consulting Pty Ltd, initially as a Sole Practitioner, rapidly growing and expanding into the Major Firm that it is today.

Guest Lecturer to Architectural Students on Lift Systems’ Design and Implementation at Major Universities including Queensland University of Technology and University of Queensland.

Following an extensive Management career in customer service, people and event management, I was introduced to the Vertical Transport Industry in 2010 and have not looked back. I am a qualified Lift Mechanic and Electrician by trade and have worked hands on in all areas of the Lift and Escalator industry.

I joined the Innovative Lift Consulting Team in 2019 and it’s a pleasure to support and lead the team as Lead Consultant & Operations Manager.

I am passionate, driven and always strive for excellence not settling for any less. The most rewarding part of my role has been supporting our clients to deliver Major Upgrades/ Modernisation Projects and Maintenance Contract solutions at iconic sites across Southeast Queensland particularly

I began my career in the Lift Industry in 1984 as an apprentice with Otis Elevators working in their service, installation, and repair departments.

Throughout my time in the industry, I have gained experience in all aspects of the industry working my way into Senior Management Roles.

Some of these roles included Service Manager, Project Manager, Sales Manager, South Australian Branch Manager, National Business Development Manage and starting with Innovative Lift Consulting in October 2021 as a Senior Consultant.

I started my electrical apprenticeship within the lift industry in 2008 at Liftronic, working within all aspects of the industry, such as Installation, Modernisation, Service and Repairs. During my time in the industry, I have spent a considerable period testing and commissioning equipment on new installation and modernisation projects throughout Queensland and Victoria, ensuring the products' compliance and safety, with an extensive knowledge of lift code and safety standards.

I recently joined the ILC team in January 2025 as a Specialist Consultant.

My professional career commenced in 1987 when I began an apprenticeship as a lift mechanic with Johns Perry Lifts in Adelaide.

Over the years, I have built extensive expertise within the lift industry, progressing through a variety of professional roles. These have included Area Supervisor (Gold Coast), Modernisation Manager (QLD), Modernisation Sales & Product Manager (National), and most recently, Senior Consultant (QLD & NSW), a position I commenced with ILC in April 2025.

Each role has contributed to a comprehensive understanding of the industry and a strong foundation in both operational and strategic leadership.

With over nine years of experience within large corporate organizations, I have developed extensive expertise across operations, health and safety, risk management, customer service leadership, and project management.

My professional focus has been on the successful implementation of strategic programs and the streamlining of business services to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Since 2023, I have continued to apply these skills in my current role, consistently demonstrating a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
